First meeting of the International Advisory Board

On June 27, the first meeting of the International Advisory Board of the UNESCO Chair for Social Sustainability was held. Representatives of the University of Szczecin attended the (online) meeting with researchers from Albania, Montenegro, Egypt, Spain and Italy: Vice-Chancellor for Organization and Chair of the International Advisory Board – Prof. Kinga Flaga- Gieruszyńska, Vice-Chancellor for Science – Prof. Andrzej Skrendo, Head (Chairholder) of the UNESCO Chair for Sustainable Social Development – Prof. Maciej Kowalewski, Plenipotentiary of the Rector for Cooperation with Universities and Colleges. Cooperation with Universities and Other Entities in Western Europe and the Mediterranean Basin – Prof. Angelo Rella, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the UNESCO Chair – Dr. Norbert Obrycki, and Head of the Projects Department – Agnieszka Skrycka.

The meeting focused on areas of future scientific cooperation, and the new members of the International Advisory Board are: Dr. Amira El-Deeb, Prof. Yuriy Bilan, Prof. Giovanni Dotoli, Prof. Gaetano Dammacco, Prof. Mercedes Arriaga Flórez, Prof. Helene Harth, Prof. Xenophon Krisafi, Prof. Vesna Kilibarda, Prof. Cristina Hermida del Llano, Prof. Skender Topi, Prof. Sebastiano Valerio.
