Official opening of the UNESCO Chair for Social Sustainability
On 18.11.2022 there was a ceremonial inauguration of the UNESCO Chair for Social Sustainability at the University of Szczecin Doctoral School. The University of Szczecin joined the prestigious group of universities that host UNESCO Chairs and faced the most important problems in the modern world.
During the opening of the Chair, an online conference was held, co-organized by the Polish Committee for UNESCO, with the guest participation of Dr. Alicja Jagielska-Burduk – Secretary General of the Polish Committee for UNESCO. The conference was also attended by Ms. Inga Nichanian – Coordinator of UNITWIN/UNESCO Chairs Programme, Future of Learning and Innovation, Education Sector, UNESCO.
